Delta Beta Lambda Foundation mission is to uniquely design programs to improve the understanding of, and to gain better access to, technology in the areas of gaming, communication, science and math education for disadvantaged youth.

The foundations strategic goals is to work with public and private sector leaders and help them understand the digital divide facing DepriTech, ethnic minority, and disabled youth in the U.S and abroad, finally we hope to designed effective programs that not only address this gap, but reach the most needed low income communities first.

The Delta Beta Lambda Foundation is excited about another opportunity to raise monies for programs and scholarship for DEPRITECH youth. Technology is an essential tool in youth development. Access to information technology allows youth to learn marketable skills, find required information, and be heard by others. Ultimately, young people can make healthier life choices and alternatives if they have access to technology.

Delta Beta Lambda Foundation seeks the following objectives: (1) to provide access to the new technologies in ways that enable low-income youths to become active producers rather than passive users, (2) to use the new technologies to improve the dialogue between technology companies and low-income youth, (3) to help low-income youths to exploit the entrepreneurial and educational potential of information technologies, (4) to develop approaches to education that take advantage of the educational capabilities of the gaming and computer technologies, and (5) to promote the computers, gaming platforms and game development applications that foster educational development.

We are happy to be affiliated with the Salvation Army Community Center in Spartanburg, SC this year for our "First Annual TECH N BAG Program". This programs mission is to empower "DepriTech" youth by providing quality technology products and resources which will serve to enhance their learning environment. Our goal is to meet the limited technology access of the youth in the Spartanburg community so they can have access to technology that can enhance their learning experience at school. This program will be for 65 participants from the Salvation Army Community Center Summer Day Camp Program only.
